Resumen:
Regional metamorphism of siliceous dolomite limestones gave origin to forsterite, diopside and periclase marbles. The mineral assemblages produced by progressive decarbonatization indicate a high-grade metamorphism with T > 600ºC, high XCO2 and very low PH2O. Bimetasomatic reaction rims rich in calcsilicate minerals appear between the marbles and the surrounding rocks. A later retrograde metamorphism gave rise to low-grade hydrous minerals.
