Mixed oxides of ruthenium and manganese were prepared by thermal decomposition of precursors to be used as electroactive materials on DSA electrodes. It was demonstrated the formation of mixed oxide solutions of rutile type structure. It was also demonstrated that these electrode materials have greater intrinsic electrocatalytic activity for chlorine evolution reaction than RuO2.
