Several mafic and ultramafic belts have been recognized in Argentina. They comprise a broad spectrum of ages, from the Proterozoic to Cretaceous. Metallogenenetic information includes mineralization type: lodes, massive sulfide and mineral occurrences; while chromite deposits are shown separately. Metal content was indicated by different-sized symbols.
