Resumen:
The one-dimensional diffusion of particles in the presence of traps has been widely studied due to its many applications in chemistry and physics. We have calculated the moment of the displacement for a particle diffusing under the action of a field in the presence of randomly distributed traps. The surviving particles represent particles that have not taken part in the reaction, while the absorbed particles represent those that have already reacted. We have obtained results for the moments of the surviving and the absorbed particles. The low - and high - field cases are considered separately. For low fields, the moments of the surviving particles have the asymptotic form <xn> ~ Atn/3, where A depends on the field strength, the diffusion coefficient and the trap density.
