Resumen:
The influence of a uniform field on the distribution of mobile particles in the presence of mobile traps is analyzed. If the system dimensionality is two or higher, a steady state is reached. In this steady state there is an anisotropic depletion region next to the trap, whose relative size decreases with dimensionality. For one-dimensional systems, a steady state is reached exponentially fast if the field points towards the trap. If the field points away from the trap, there is no steady state and the maximum of the probability distribution function for the distance from the trap to its nearest neighbor moves away from the trap with constant speed (the depletion hole grows continuously).
