Resumen:
We have previously described that Trypanosoma cruzi and T. brucei solanesyl diphosphate synthase can be inhibited by [(n-oct-1-ylamino)ethyl]-1,1-bisohosphonic acid. In T. brucei this compound showed metabolic affets similar to those displayed when inhibiting the enzyme or intefering with its expression.
