In this study we propose a new paradigm for changing the actual productivistic point of view  in the management of natural resources of Patagonia toward a more environmentally friendly approach.  For achieving this goal, I propose we propose three concatenated steps: 1) promoting environmental education from elementary to high school for all students, 2) to promote the values and protection programs for conservation of native ecosystems, and 3) to promote education programs at university levels led by the University of Patagonia.
