Resumen:
In the present chapter, we update and review recent literature discussing the use of harvested leaves and aerial parts of plants as a source of bioactive compounds for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and explain the synthetic techniques, characteristics, composition, and properties of plant-prepared nanocomposites. In conclusion, it should be noted that the use of leaf extracts as a naturally produced source for the fabrication of metal nanoparticles is an area with a wide potential for various applications
