STEPWISE MIGRATION AND RESIDENTIAL STRATEGIES AT THE GLOBAL CITIES   Abstract: The migrant settlements at global cities are changing its urban morphology. The aim of this paper is to analyse the territorial logics of bolivian migrants in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area through their residential strategies which comprise migratory trajectories. This study uses the biographic method by the application of the compared life narratives technique. Four trajectory types and their corresponding strategies were identified. One of them is the stepwise migration and this is the principal type which it has shaping migrant neighbourhood where the ethnic identity is built.
