Resumen:
We present some partial results about canonical extensions on subvarieties of BL-algebras. We prove that a subvariety V of BL-algebras is sigma-canonical if and only if it is finitely generated. We also give some examples on non trivial subvarieties which enjoy pi-canonicity.
