In this WORK, we provide some conditions under which the discretized (or smooth based) versions of these two classical families of nonparametric regression estimators converge, in mean square error, to the true underling regression function. Also, we give conditions on the grid size discretization in order to achieve the same rates of convergence that when dealing with the unobservable infinite dimensional data.
