Resumen:
During the last years big collaborative efforts have been done to reach a better understanding of the galaxy formation on different environments. This has allowed us to improve the predicted statistics of the galaxy properties in a cosmological context, according to the considered framework of the astrophysical processes which drive the galaxy evolution. In this context we introduce the MultiDark-Galaxies project, collaboration which aims to combine high resolution dark matter simulations with three distinct semi-analytic models of galaxy formation and evolution: SAG, GALACTICUS and SAGE; characterized by different designs and calibrations. Here we present the first results derived from the MDPL2 simulation which considers a side length of 1 Gpc/h and a mass resolution of 1.5E9 Msun/h. We compare the models and their conformity with observational data for a selection of fundamental properties of galaxies. Finally, we will show several specific predictions of the semi-analytic model SAG, highlighting a couple of questions which remain open in our understanding of the galaxy evolution.
