Resumen:
The S-PLUS Fornax project (S+FP, Smith Castelli et al. 2021; Smith Castelli et al., in prep.) aims at studying the Fornax galaxy cluster using photometric data in the 12 optical bands of the S-PLUS Survey (Mendes de Oliveira et al. 2019). As a part of that project, we are analysing Fornax-like clusters extracted from state-of-the-art cosmological numerical simulations (EAGLE and Illustris-TNG), selecting them according to observed features in the Fornax cluster. In this work, we present a first comparison between the main characteristics of the selected clusters and those observed in Fornax.
