Resumen:
Massive stars play a key role in several astrophysical phenomena. However, the scarcity of theseobjects and difficulties involved in their observation prevent us from an adequate knowledge of their fundamentalparameters (e.g. mass, radio, temperature and luminosity). Besides, it is complicated to find recent compilations ofall the relevant information on this subject. This is why we are currently conducting a bibliographic search aimingat compiling a complete and updated catalogue of all the massive stars with precisely determined fundamentalparameters. The catalogue will be focused on those stars whose masses were determined by the eclipsing binariesmethod. We have already found the mass of 140 stars, obtained using well sampled light and radial velocitycurves. These stars belong to early spectral types (from O3 to B4) and are mostly dwarfs and giants. Usuallythey are in detached binary systems but several have other morphologies. The majority of these systems are inthe Milky Way, but 17 belong to the Magellanic Clouds. We have gathered various parameters other thanmass, so we can present a preliminary analysis of the relation between mass and effective temperature.
