Resumen:
Petrogenetic analysis and geothermometry at Sauce Guacho granite, Ancasti range, Catamarca province. This paper provides petrogenetic and geothermometric information about the Sauce Guacho granite, obtained from the morphological analysis of zircons and the interpretation of pre-existing geochemical data of its equigranular facies. This intrusive, of Lower Carboniferous age, is located in the northern sector of the eastern slope of Ancasti range, within the ambit of Sierras Pampeanas Orientales. The morphology of zircon indicates that the equigranular facies of the Sauce Guacho Granite correspond to an "autochthonous and intrusive aluminous leucogranite" of the group of cortical granites or mainly of cortical origin; furthermore this facies have saturation temperatures in zircon, mainly below 800°C and generally it shows a good correspondence with others Devonian ? Lower Carboniferous ages granites from Sierras Pampeanas.
