El Patrimonio geológico y la planificación regional del turismo. Caso: Paisajes protegidos de la provincia de Rio Negro

Resumen En la presente contribución seestudia el rol del patrimonio geológico para lograr una diferenciación ycomplementariedad en territorios intermedios del turismo, ubicados en áreasperiféricas. El objetivo fue analizar factores y aspectos generales sobre eluso turístico en sectores y circuitos de dos áreas naturales protegidas (ANP), ambascon categoría de manejo de paisaje protegido, en la provincia de Río Negro,Patagonia Norte, Argentina. Algunas conclusiones fueron: 1. Lanecesidad de poseer información de base sobre geodiversidad y límites definidosde las ANP para planificar el turismo a escala provincial / regional y 2. En losdos casos de estudio, el patrimonio geológico podría ser la clave para diseñar atractivossecundarios en destinos intermedios de turismo; e incluso atractivosprincipales y que estas ANP se conviertan en destinos finales para elgeoturismo. Abstract. Geological heritage and regionalplanning of tourism. Protected landscapes of Rio Negro province case study.This contribution examines the role of geological heritage to achieve differentiation and complementarity in intermediate territories of tourism, located in peripheral areas. The objective was to analyse factors and general aspects about touristic use in sectors and circuits of two protected natural areas; both of them had a protected landscape category of management in the province of Río Negro, North Patagonia, Argentina.Some conclusions were: 1. The need to have basic information on geodiversity and defined limits of the PNA to plan tourism at provincial / regional level; and 2.
