Resumen:
Short Abstract: Binary and ternary polymers of hydroxyalkylacrylamides, ethyl acrylate and acrylic acid, known as hydrophobically modified polyacrylamides (HMPA), are biocompatible polymers applied as drugs carriers, in artificial organs and particularly in cardiovascular tissue engineering as molecules incorporated into the luminal surface of the prosthetic graft surface to prevent thrombosis. In this report we determined the molecular weight and composition of a series of HMPA, synthesized through an enzymatic approach, by UV-MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry .   Keywords: Hydrophobically modified polyacrylamides (HMPA), UV-MALDI-TOF-MS, nor-harmane, GA.
