Resumen:
We have optimized the original procedure for the synthesis of -Galf phosphate , which is here described in detail, taking into account the exceptional lability of a furanose 1-phosphate. The starting compound, perbenzoylated galactofuranose , was obtained crystalline in one step from galactose.
