Resumen:
Truncated hemoglobin O (TrHbO) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mt) is a small hemeprotein that is known to be vital in the microorganism?s capacity to resist microaerobic conditions1; GlbO knockout Mt is not able to survive under hypoxic stress. This globin exists mostly as a dimer in solution2, and it is able to perform an autokinase activity under low oxygen concentration conditions. Our aim is to describe both computationally and experimentally the interaction between monomeric TrHbO of Mt and negatively charged membranes
