Resumen:
GS 121–05–037 is a Galactic supershell located in the outer part of the Galaxy at (l, b) ∼(121.◦3, −4.◦8) at a distance of 3.2 ± 1 kpc from the Sun. In this work we estimated the kinetic energy ofthe feature to determine its possible origin. Several catalogued H ii regions are located projected towards thesupershell. With the aim of determining if the H ii regions were triggered by the expansion of the supershell wedeveloped a method to detect the generating sources of the H ii regions an to determine if they are located at thesame distance than the supershell. To this end, we made use of photometric and astrometric data from GAIADR3 in conjunction with 2MASS photometry.
