Modeling of mobility in complex living systems: from cells to crowds.

In this talk we will introduce some models for mobility of living populations under the effects of different phenomena which naturally appear on their dynamics. We will mainly focus on models of crowd dynamics and cell mobility under certain stimuli, proposing some modeling strategies starting from the kinetic scale, using some scaling tools such as the hydrodynamic limit to deduce macroscopic models, and showing some numerical results.
