Resumen:
Nichols algebras play an important rôle in the classification of pointed Hopf algebras in the context of the lifting method.In this talk I will give the basic definitions concerning this method, I will explain techniques to decide the dimension of some Nichols algebras and I will present some results for some families of non-abelian groups.
