Resumen:
We give another motivation for the two dimensional hyperbolic geometry,presented through a concrete example of a surface which is not included in acanonical manner in the Euclidean space: The set of all nontrivial boundedand closed intervals in the real line, endowed with a metric which does notdiscriminate size.
