Resumen:
In the present work, we explore the dendronization of plane and spherical gold surfaces. In this way, we specifically designed and synthesized two dendrons: 3,5-Bis (3,5-dinitrobenzoylamino) benzoic acid and Behera amine disulfure. D-NO2 dendrons adsorbs onto gold electrode surfaces spontaneously by dipping the metal surface in dendron solutions and also via grafting of cystamine covalently attached to gold electrode. The resulting redox-active layer exhibits a well-behaved redox response for the adsorbed nitroso/hydroxylamine couple. Cyclic voltammetry and Scanning tunneling microscope (STM) were used to characterize the derivatised surface. Attachment of the dendrons was followed through the observation of the electrochemical signal of reporting groups such as the nitro group.
