Resumen:
Abstract:In this work we have designed a new, robust, easy-to-use and low cost staple-based electrochemical detector for quantitative analysis on paper-based analytical systems. This simple amperometric platform allows obtaining precise and accurate results with potential application to many fields. It has been optimised employing the signal of ferrocene, a well-known redox probe,. As a proof-of-concept, the possibility of use in enzymatic immunoassays has been demonstrated through the signal of 3,3?,5,5?-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB), a common substrate of horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
