Resumen:
In this work nanocomposites of high density
polyethylene with organoclay modified with polyvinyl (alcohol) by in situ
polymerization, were prepared for the melt intercalation technique. It was used
two different routes to prepare the modified organoclay. The clay MMTHDTMA/PVA
(POH) was dispersed in propylic alcohol and the clay MMTHDTMA/PVA
(AV) was dispersed in the monomer, vinyl acetate.
