Resumen:
This paperpresentsamethodtodeterminetheDrucker?Pragerparametersofpressure-dependantelastic-perfectlyplasticpolymericmaterialsbymeansofthedepth-sensingindentationtechnique.Thisis achievedviaaninverseanalysisoftheload?displacementdataresultingfromtwotestsperformedwith Berkovichandsphericaltips.Thewell-posednessandtheeffectiverangeofapplicationoftheproposedmethodarecarefullyassessedfirst.Thenthemethodistestedfortwoelasto-plasticmaterialswith mildinitialstrain-hardening(HDPEandPMMA),andtheresultsarecomparedtothosemeasuredusing conventionaltensileandcompressiontests.Itisfoundthatthepressure-sensitivityindicescanbeaccuratelypredicted,whiletheyieldstresspredictionsintensionandcompressionfallwithinthenon-linear portionoftheuniaxialstress?straincurves,i.e.,insidetheregionwhereplasticdeformationbegins.
