Resumen:
Storage time without use (STWU) in thesupporting electrolyte solution for time periods beyond 30 hours deactivatespoly(o-aminophenol) (POAP) films. Deactivated POAP films exhibit a lowerconductivity than freshly prepared (nondeactivated) films Consideringthe interest in POAP synthesized in acid medium in both basic and appliedresearch, no much attention has been paid to the decay of the electroactivityof POAP caused by its extensive use. Deactivation ofpoly(o-aminophenol) (POAP) film electrodes by STWU in the supportingelectrolyte solution is reviewed in this work
