Resumen:
For the endoparasitoid Pseudoapanteles dignus and the ectoparasitoid Dineulophus phtorimaeae, we evaluated: a) total and average parasitism rate per leaf, for each species, and b) variation of the mean proportion of parasitism as occurring either alone or together on a single leaf, along a gradient of increasing field host densities. We found: a) higher total ectoparasitoid parasitism rates than for P. dignus, and b) higher proportion of leaves with the endoparasitoid for a host density of 1, but a tendency to an increased parasitism by the ectoparasitoid either alone or accompanied by P. dignus in the same leaf, as host density increases.
