Resumen:
Stink bugs (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) are important soybean pests. In Argentina, Piezodorus guildinii is very abundant, and its main natural enemies are oophagous parasitoids (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae). In evaluations of field parasitism Telenomus podisi was the predominant species, followed by Trissolcus urichi and Trissolcus basalis. Additionally, high parasitism and emergence rates of T. podisi and T. urichi were obtained in laboratory assays. However, when studding multiparasitism T. urichi was intrinsically superior. Better extrinsic abilities of T. podisi would favor its coexistence with T. urichi in the field. These interspecific interactions between parasitoids affect their potential as biological control agents.
