Resumen:
The analysis of aerosol data from MODIS by employing the MAIAC new algorithm which provides AOD data with 1 km-resolution, gives a complete panorama of the horizontal aerosol distribution at the Pierre Auger Observatory. Inhomogeneities are present when analyzing different seasons and months of the year. There is a correlation along the year between soil composition and AOD, and between soil type, vegetation and AOD.
