Resumen:
Metallic nanoparticles have been greatly researched in recent years because of their size-dependent properties and the possibility to use them for micro and nano devices. In particular, silver nanoparticles have been studied due to their optical, electrical and catalytic properties, mainly for applications as biosensors. Several methods are being used to produce metallic nanoparticles by chemical and physical techniques. The particle size, colloids stability and nanoparticles properties are very depend from the preparation method and experimental conditions, and the SPM techniques has been employed as a very powerful tool to characterize them. In this work the morphologic characterization of Ag nanoparticles from different preparation proceses in liquid continuous media and with different surface modifiers are present using NanoTec ELECTRONICA equipment in tapping mode configuration with a SiN tip in air at room temperature. We show comparative studies of the results using TEM techniques and other ones to complete the analysis.
