Long wavelengths (Nlw) exceeding structure´s size were eliminated by adequated filtering. Residual charts were obtained by NRo = Nt - Nlw. A reference model was prepared assuming perfect isostatic compensation. Known basin depth was taken as input signal. For the modeling process, both sedimentary load and compensating antiroot were assimilated to a set of rectangular parallelepipeds. Residual undulations Nr were calculated using: Nr = (-Vs + Var)/g, where Vs and Var are gravimetric potentials due to the sediments and antiroot respectively, and g is gravity. Considering NRo - Nr < 0 we can infer that the basin is isostatically undercompensated, thus tending to subside in the future. Geoid calculations were also carried out by means of other methods as equivalent sources techniques or plain Stokes. Different results confirm previous interpretation. These results were also confirmed using traditional gravimetric methods. Observed gravity anomalies are in agreement with the ones obtained from geoid undulations calculated with the mentioned methods. The well known method N = h - H is perhaps the most efficient one to obtain geoid undulation charts. In this work we have demonstrated that using geoid undulations, structures modeling and interpretations done are the same as the ones obtained by traditional gravity.
