Resumen:
In this work, the synthesis
and the final properties of new polyurethane foams based on castor oil modified
with maleic anhydride were studied (Scheme 1). In addition, the biodegradation
was investigated by enzymatic attack of different microbial cultures under
aerobic conditions. The microorganisms used were Pseudomonas sp., Aspergillus niger, and Aspergillus clavatus.
