Resumen:
Scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) was used to study the Ar+ bombardment induced effect over a (0001) surface of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG). Using a low dose of bombardment we are able of isolating single ion impact that induces important (√3´√3)R30º superstructures.
