Documents handed-out before or produced during the workshop: the documents and slides for the courses were available for the participants either at the web site of the HPC Workshop,  http://www.cimec.org.ar/irses, or at their accounts as users of the cluster  Aquiles. Most of them were provided in portable document format (pdf). Furthermore, additional material as C, MPI, Python, and Application Framework files, were available from the cluster Aquiles.Benefits gained for the workshop participants:  There are three main aspects to analyze, regarding the benefits obtained by the participants.  The first one consists of the advantages taken from of the courses. The  course proposals, oriented to HPC, counted on theory lectures and hands  on activities, many of these over one of the available clusters. The subjects  included were HPC in general, MPI introduction, and MPI4Py, as well as  the use of the parallel program elPaSo. The after-workshop week was  employed also for working on the parallelism of some of the codes  developed by the participants.  The second aspect is related to the diffusion of the main activities in each  group or institution, including the exchange of work experiences, leading to identify common interests among the participants. The last aspect considered has to do with generating or reinforcing links concerning the future people mobilities, as well the future workshops planned as part of the NumSim IRSES project.
