Resumen:
This article presents a strategy to link dimensionally heterogeneous models for compressible flows and an algorithm to solve the coupled problem. The algorithm is based on a "loose" coupling between the codes with a stage loop in order to reach a strong coupling when such loop converges. Some preliminary results of the application of the proposed algorithm to the realization of in-cylinder flow computations in internal combustion engines are presented.
