Resumen:
A procedure to implement the synthesis of MSF systems taken into account Availability is presented. A case study is analyzed, considering characteristic parameters for failure rates and equipment availabilities. A redundancy structure is achieved as solution of the optimization problem, as well as the system structure and the process operation condition.
