Resumen:
In this paper the application of two anaerobic digestion models to biofilm systems is described. The principal differences after the study of basic study cases are presented. A rigurous model for the anaerobic fluidized be reactor using a partial differential equation system, in which the hidrodynamics of the system is taken into account is presented.
