Resumen:
This paper presents a multiperiod mixed integer linear programming (MILP) for planning investment in renewable and conventional energy sources for Argentina. The renewable energy sources considered in this work are those where Argentina has a competitive advantage and whose technologies have reached a certain maturity and reliability. The time horizon proposed for the study is 20 years. The objective function of is to minimize the investment and operation costs of the energy supply. The model allows the analysis of several scenarios varying the availability of crude oil reserves. The results provided by the model are the visualization of the investments made: time periods in and their amounts and also how the energy matrix is affected by those investments.
