Resumen:
In this work we propose the implementation of the dual random phase encoding technique (DRPE) in the temporal domain in order to evaluate its potential application for data transmission in fiber optics links. For taking into account the optical fiber multiplexing capabilities, the noise content of the signal is analyzed when multiple channels are transmitted over a single fiber optic link. Besides, we discuss different mechanisms for producing encoded time-limited signals, and how this affects the decoding behavior. Numerical simulations have been carried out to analyze the system performance. The obtained results indicate that this multiplexing encryption method could be a good alternative to other well-established methods.
