Resumen:
The phenomenon of synchronization between two or more areas of the brain coupledasymmetrically is a very relevant topic to understand the mechanisms and functions withinthe cerebral cortex. The anticipated synchronization (AS) refers to the situation in whichthe receiving system synchronizes with the future dynamics of the sender system, while theintuitive delayed synchronization (DS) represents exactly the opposite case. In this workwe investigate and compare the magnitude of the connection between the networks in theAS and DS regimes within the context of causal information using a symbolic formalism ofmultiple temporal scales.
