Resumen:
We present a study of the possible active stellar forming region in the environs of the HII region Sh2-205.The analysis is based on data obtained from point source catalogs and images extracted from 2MASS, MSX, and IRAS surveys. Complementary data are taken from the CO survey by Dame et al. (2001).  The identification of primary source candidates stellar formation activity is made following criteria color selection and the correlation with molecular gas emission. In particular, the optical nebula LBN148.11-045 is an interesting area in this region. It is a classical HII region with mixed gas and dust. Atomic neutral and molecular gas were found associated with this HII region. A ring-shape feature detected in near-infrared emission surrounding the ionized gas was identified as a photodisociation region. The present study reveals several young stellar objects candidates in the region.
