Resumen:
Abstract. Based on 12CO(2-1) and 13CO(2-1) line observations ob-tained with the APEX telescope, we investigate the molecular gas dis-tribution in the environs of the infrared dust bubbles S 21, S 22, andS 23 identified by Churchwell et al. (2006). This study allowed us to find molecular shells linked to the bubbles, and to estimate their distances, excitation conditions, masses, and ambient densities. A search for young stellar objets in IR point source catalogs applying specific criteria, revealed active areas of star formation coincident with the molecular envelope.
