Resumen:
This investigation is about the use of vegetable resources at the Southern Puna. The following objectives were established: 1-To identify scientifically the archaeological plant species through a comparative morphological and anatomical analysis of the present day species of the study area. 2-To determine the origin area of each plant species based on their distribution in the current environment, taking into account the environmental changes. 3-To evaluate the possible differential use of different plant associations in relation to the paleoclimatic changes. 4-To analyze the domestication process. 5-To infer the paleoenvironmental conditions and the paleodiet, considering the presence of C3., C4, and CAM plant species.
