SugarLoafPLoP  2016, the 11th Latin-American Conference on  Pattern Languages of Programs brought together  researchers, educators, and  practitioners whose  interests span a remarkably broad  range of topics and who share an interest in exploring the power of the pattern form. This  edition  of  SugarLoafPLoP  was  held  for  the  first  time  in  Buenos  Aires,  Argentina, incorporating  several  Spanish-speaker  participants  from  Latin-America  and  Spain,  besides many participants from  Brazil, where the conference was held for the first ten editions, and some from other countries.  These  proceedings  are  the  result  of  the  work  of  authors,  shepherds,  reviewers,  and conference  participants.  After  the  conference,  the  authors  were  strongly  encouraged  to further evolve their papers  in order to accommodate suggestions for  improvement gathered during the discussions at the conference. Additionally, some authors took the opportunity to translate their papers to English,  making them  more accessible to a larger audience.  Papers received another  round of  revisions in order to guarantee the quality of the resulting papers here published.  We  would  like  to  thank  all  authors,  shepherds,  reviewers,  and  members  of  the  Program Committee  for  their  time  and  collaboration.
