Resumen:
The human right to migrate, together with equal access to rights (which includes socialsecurity) are both central to the current legal framework in Argentina. However, one of thekey findings that has emerged from the MigSP data is that migrants and refugees stillexperience barriers in accessing social protection. These barriers are mainly located at thelegal social security framework, but they are also embodied in bureaucratic practices.Thus, my purpose here is to analyze whether and how the exceptional social securitymeasures adopted during the COVID19 pandemic show similar obstacles for migrants.
