New non-thermal radio structures in the SNR Puppis A

We present a new high-resolution, high-dynamic range image of the extended supernova remnant (SNR) Puppis A at 1425 MHz, performed using the Very Large Array (VLA) in the CnB and DnC configurations. Our new image shows with superb detail structures not previously noted, specially in the northern and eastern part of the radio shell. By combining the new observations at 1425 MHz with re-processed VLA archival data at 327 MHz we explore the non-thermal radio spectrum at different positions across the SNR. We find spatial variations in the radio spectral index from -0.38 to -0.67 along the periphery of this remnant.
