Resumen:
The analysis proposed in this papershows how Bit Error Rate degrades through deencryptionprocedure of the AES algorithm whentransmission is done over a noisy channel. The encryptionrobustness of the AES algorithm is based inthe non-linearity of its operations, which in turn resultsinto an error propagation effect. The analysisallows us to conclude that the operations of bytemode partially reduces the error propagation effect.The error propagation effect appears as a measureof the encryption capability of this algorithm. Thiseffect is such that is almost completely developedafter the third round of the algorithm. Mix_Columnsis the function with the strongest error propagationeffect in AES.
