Resumen:
The Goals of this work are:o To Value the environmental adequacy of the built heritage after re-functionalization.o To Determine the importance in terms of habitability of the environmental criteriaconsidered in re-functionalization.o To Infer if the environmental criteria with which the buildings were initially plannedwere respected.o To Determine if the proposed re-functionalization allows the valuation of the heritagebuilding.Resilience is the ability to adapt to a disruptive agent or an adverse state or situation. Resilientarchitecture is one in which buildings can be reused in such a way that they can adapt to changes in anefficient way.The reuse of built heritage is the set of actions that are taken so that the architectural work can meeta new life cycle adapting to the demands of contemporary use, technological needs and comfort, butwithout losing its original character. In Argentina, there are multiple examples of re-functionalization works in buildings with historicalheritage value. The following work proposes an analysis of cases evaluating the adaptation oriented to theconditioning of the buildings; as well as, the general bioenvironmental criteria that were taken intoaccount in the original design of the building. This has made it possible to prove that the decision to recover spaces implies the appropriate choice offunctions that allow dignifying the built heritage and enriching the identity and culture of a society.Likewise, it demonstrates its importance from the point of view of sustainability since it implies animportant energy saving, it rationally takes advantage of the natural resources, materials of the site, decreases the demand for them and generates less waste.
